I meant to do this before the season kicked off last night, but it’s still good.  Here are some basic predictions for the season.

Division Winners:
AFC East: New England Patriots
AFC North: Baltimore Ravens
AFC South: Indianapolis Colts
AFC West: San Diego Chargers
NFC East: Philadelphia Eagles
NFC North: Green Bay Packers
NFC South: New Orleans Saints
NFC West: San Francisco 49ers

Wild Card Teams: Pittsburgh Steelers, Tennessee Titans, Minnesota Vikings, Atlanta Falcons

League MVP: Tom Brady

Offensive Rookie of the Year: Javid Best

Defensive Rookie of the Year: Ndomukong Suh

Coach of the Year: Mike McCarthy

5 Underachieving Teams: Minnesota Vikings, New York Jets, Arizona Cardinals, Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texans

4 Teams With Bad Records That No One Will Want To Play Late in the Season: Kansas City Chiefs, Carolina Panthers, Washington Redskins, Cleveland Browns

3 Overachieving Teams: Tennessee Titans, Detroits Lions, Oakland Raiders

Most Surprising Storyline: The Detroit Lions and Oakland Raiders nearly make the playoffs.

First coach to be fired: Jack Del Rio

Second coach to be fired: Wade Phillips
